A Brief Musical Interlude
Today is the anniversary of the suicide of Darby Crash. Some say he would have been famous if it weren’t for the actions of one Mark David Chapman eclipsing the culmination of Darby’s five year plan. My friend Susana Case is working on a project Famous Suicides in which she is writing about famous and or interestingly odd suicides. She wrote about Darby on his birthday this year, and here I commemorate his death.
The portrait at the top of the page is by Shepard Fairey.
